On January 29th, I was invited to a unique world. The world titled as the BIG SHOW, which is simply a young and famous Korean pop artists’ concert. The name of the group is Big Bang, composed of five twentish mid aged men. Although most of the members’ appearances are unappealing, the performances were different compared to other teenaged singers, who only know how to dance; believes in their visual. However, as an hour passed, it made me exhausted, not from shouting but from a boredom. It indeed frustrated me. Their performance, concept, singing tone, facial expression, even the clothes do not have any distinction from the performances in the beginning. Moreover, it appeared to be just a copycat from American pop musics and dancing style. It may be my capricious personality. Still, I do not want to deny of the fact that their show was repetitive. Furthermore, it was really absurd to hear the song that had a copyright issue in the concert in spite of that the leader of the group was sued for plagiarism. The most frustrating part of the show was the Korean’s attitude in the front seat. They all squeeze, push, swear, shout, stand up high, so that one could plausibly die and faint. Actually, the news report cited that there are over twenty fainted people from this concert. From that experience, I truly determined myself to not ever go to the Korean singers’ concert.
